Mate i work with a few philo fellas(really a shitload) and most aint into boxing at all but mention the pacman and now donaire and they know exactly what im on about.

They love their champs..

I remember watching Morales Vs Pacman 3 at Quakers Inn, i was going for Morales and everytime Pacman threw any punches there were heaps of Filo's there cheering him on.
It was funny, all supporting him, but if another big fight was on none would be there.

i think that was why the promoters chose dubai. somewhere away from the philippines to garner international media attention but still have good filipino support
