Juárez lands a good left hook stepping in. High guard by Juárez, swaying from side to side with his arms loosely bunched in front of him, wrists over his chin, elbows on his upper chest. Donaire is leaning to his left and throwing hard piercing upper-hooks through Juárez's arms or around the right one. WILD swings by Juárez, breaking formation with a fat left hook. Donaire landing nice counters in the exchanges, mixing in body work, pelting Juárez on the ribs with the left. Donaire is pecking at the guard with his jab, forcing Juárez to bring his gloves closer together and instinctively pull them back against his face, stunting his offense.

Juárez is following, dropping his elbows and full body-weight to either side heavily, seeking an opening. Donaire is keeping to a comfortable perimeter, getting full extension on his straight leads and counters and still dropping in some lefts on the body. Juárez starts opening up and pastes Donaire between the eyes with a chopping right but fails to land cleanly in his follow-up, as Donaire squats by the ropes and steps clear, landing counters.
