    Round 9

Juárez is drilling the former champ on the ropes. Donaire just taking it all, reclining, using minimal head movement, waving his fists around semi-protectively. Donaire occasionally draws his right arm back to spring-load the straight right when he gets room, and lands it, but it bounces off Juárez's chin like nothing. Heavy pressure by Juárez. Hooks on the body and chops up top. Donaire is getting caught with an increasing number of punches on the chin, whether he is running and keeping his arms down to conserve energy or loading up on counters and getting hit 3:1 by lighter but more plentiful shots.

    10-9 Juárez

    86-83 Donaire

    Round 10

Juárez is mowing into Donaire. Flush jabs by Juárez. Donaire is doing very little, just ducking with his face at Juárez's crotch, dipping and weaving, but drunkenly, getting caught by low underhanded swipes from Juárez. Donaire is scoring very cleanly when he does throw, right hands laser-guided into the face of the oncoming Juárez. Donaire is hit and GOES DOWN - but ruled a slip. Commentators hate the call. Donaire is pretty unsteady, might have been affected by that. Nonstop hooks by Juárez. All Donaire can do is duck, his legs completely shot at this point and his neck too stiff to move enough to slip punches.

    10-9 Juárez

    95-93 Donaire
