Who wins this entertaining match up? Donaire only had 3 fights at the weight but showed that he was a dangerous fighter with his size, speed and power. Would the smaller but skilled Gilberto Roman be able to outbox Donaire without getting caught by Donaire’s trademark lefthook? I’d say Roman does well in boxing from the outside but Donaire would eventually catch up to him and land hard shots that will make him constantly back up, much like with Konadu. I see Donaire dropping Román and winning this by late round stoppage.
