    when i was in cuba there was pro boxing on tv in a bar.

    it's understood and recognized. its better to think of it that pro boxing isn't devalued. but the amatuers are valued so highly. the amatuers are well known and so are pro boxers especially cubans.

    it would be hard to push for someone not to know rigondeaux. he was almost a national treasure.
