i wanted the asian to win but good god all mighty that cuban just took him to task .. yeah he moved and did alot of side to side action but he still landed his and got off on his ..it's not his fault nonito stood their like a fraggle rock ... smh those judges need to be fired!

Donaire looked like a fish out of water for the whole fight. He didn't look in control at any point. Thorough schooling upset like Hopkins_Trinidad.

 

I had this all wrong. Well not completely wrong. I had imagined that Rigo will box him 5 to 6 rounds then Donaire figures him out and lands on the chinny cuban.

His opponent is the one to blame.

 

Would Rigo call Donaire even as a sparring partner??:huh

I dunno how anyone can call this a total outboxing / outclassing when hardly any punches were landed. Rigo did a good job making Nonito follow him around but barely did anything himself. This was a good technical match at the start and picked up towards the end but the mid rounds were a complete lull. Rigo basically lulled Nonito to sleep and the fight turned into a staring contest. Only landed punches score points, not moving around doing nothing - and neither guy did much but Nonito has himself to blame for not picking up his punch output. This has been a consistent problem with him lately.

 

The spanish translator missed when Rigo said it was easy work.
