130? I'm not sure if Donaire can make it the high, but if it happened at 126 where it's Juanma's domain Donaire will have his moments, but he's in now with a more lethal puncher than he is. I think Lopez late tko or by decision. Donaire would land some leather and have success in the early rounds, maybe even drop Juanma, but Juanma fights best when he is hurt and land bombs of his own. I think Juanma isn't a better boxer than Donaire, but I think he can take Donaire's best while I don't think the naturally lighter Donaire will handle Juanma's power.

If donaire can carry his speed, i'd go with him. But then again, his chin hasn't been tested just yet so if juanma catches him, it's gonna be hell.

 Man, was siderenko that good of a win for nito. I think juanma
is a little too big and strong for little donaire. I like donaire to peak
at about 126 later in his career. 1st, he has to prove himself against
arguably the best bantamweight in the world. Fernando montiel........

Juan ma. A bit too big at the moment whom i think by the time nonito reaches the weight, would probably be fighting at the higher weights already.

Why 130? Why not 126? :huh

But christ, Donaire has just stepped up to bantamweight ffs.

2007 - Pacquiao vs Cotto? or Pacquiao vs Margarito: Pacquiao is too small and is fighting only at 130 lbs while Cotto/Marg are huge 147lbs, it is impossible, Pacquiao looks slow against Solis and he is reaching his peak at 130 yadda yadda blablabla ....................

    2-3 years later

Pacquiao beat both and now even considering fighting the Middleweight Champion of The World :bbb

yes, let's all make predictions for a fight at 130 lbs right after Donaire had his first fight at 118 lbs. makes perfect sense to me.

Indeed! 1st fight in a new division and some got dream fights 3 divisions ahead.. What's the ****in point?! First Montiel - Donaire which is highly intriguing: will Montiel comes out as a beast or will he be hesitant in there. Then when the fight is over let's talk about other options. Every time u got a fighter who gives a outstanding performance it seems that hype gets bigger every day. No need for this ****!! He got a potentially great fight ahead of him and that's good enough for me.

Look, I'm a big Donaire fan and I really think he's top P4P material. But comparing Donaire to Pac is just silly. Consider that by the time Pac was done fighting at 130 lbs (at the age of 29, just a year older than Donaire is now), he had already fought 3 HOF (possibly all 3 are ATG fighters) fighters a combined 7 times, had lineal championships in 3 weights and titles in 4 weight classes.

What has Donaire done? All he has going are great performances against B and C level fighters and 1 really good win against Darchinyan.

No one is saying he can't climb the weight classes successfully, especially since he's a tall fighter even for bantamweight, but he has done little to prove how good he is against top fighters. It's a premature discussion. Maybe if he totally dominates Montiel then it might be worth a discussion for a Lopez fight at 126.

IMO you only stand a chance against the top fighters of higher weight classes if you hold impressive wins against the top fighters of your current weight class. Donaire doesn't even have that. Again, this is just premature, because we don't have much to go on considering how thin Donaire's resume is at the moment.
