donaire doesn't have what it takes t beat a very good veteran like montiel. Overrated nonito will fold against a very good pressure fighter than can box. He has poor defense and gets hit a lot... and i've seen montiel fight live the guy can freak'n punch and has speed.

Donaire by TKO. Montiel won't be able to deal with the speed and power of Donaire.

Nonito has skills yes but I don't seem him beating Montiel. He has failed to impress me in his last fight with Hernan Marquez especially with his southpaw stance. He took way too much punishement from Marquez despite Donaire having the reach advantage.

Donaire better not fight with southpaw stance against Montiel because he is going to be brutally knocked out if he does that.

I see Montiel dominating the fight from start to finish. A battered and blooded Donaire would lose the fight by KO. I just hope Donaire won't run all the time like he did against Rafael Concepcion. Even if he runs, I see Montiel catching him with some nasty shots and giving Donaire some beating.

Nonito Donaire is overrated. He shouldn't even be in the top 10 p4p.

montiel-donaire would be exciting to watch, specially if they fight in the undercard of pacquiao vs whoever the f*ck he is.. Arum need s to step up his cards with pac.

donaire would be having a difficult time against montiel, same is true with montiel.

it was not running it was evading the punches of the guy because his punches was not so effective in an exchange against an overweight opponent.

Montiel is very dangerous when he is highly focused.

Hasegawa is faster than Donaire and as tall as Donaire.

Even he got caught by strong and furious punches by Montiel when Motile found the moment.

    It could be interesting fight.

I personally want to see the match-up between Hasegawa and Donaire.

I heard Japanese promoter paid Montiel a huge amount of money to come to Japan.

The promoter expected Hasegawa to beat Montiel and then fight Donaire in the U.S.

    That plan failed though.

    Too much punishment?

    What fight were you watching?

He was toying with that guy, experimenting some moves, fighting a southpaw stance to test it. It was a glorified sparring session.

When he decided to go to serious business, it did not even take him 1 round to knockdown Marquez.

Donaire stated he was wishing to have more rounds under his belt in that fight, like it was a sparring session.

Donairte has power in both hands, fights long, and very fast.

    Montiel would be KOed.

like I said before his counterpunching ability is top notch, matched with his speed and power which montiel has as well promises to be a great fight but I see donaire winning by UD or late round KO
