This is what I quoted you on. I simply see no evidence to support your claim.

Considering size against JUST Donaire? Well of course then, size is always an advantage if you use it. But it wasn't actually a big factor in either fight. Size is a non factor more often than not at higher levels.

Size...includes reach, which was part of the reason that Narvaez was so tepid.

OK. Still not sure what the relevance is. Donaires reach proves Clottey is a better fighter than Narvaez? :nut

The reach disadvantage that Narvaez was under neutralised his style significantly against Donaire which made him look worse than he really is...was the point I was trying to make. IIRC Clottey v Manny saw Clottey with the reach advantage.

And and and despite this physical disadvantage he arguably won 3 or 4 rounds. Clottey on the other did **** all despite his physical advantages. Clottey sucks in comparison to Narvaez. The skill gap is not even debatable. Clottey is a come forward turtle shelling fighter that physically tries to use his size to overwhelm opposition. Giving Cotto a good fight is the guys best achievement. Narvaez actually had Donaire lunging in and falling over himself like an amateur at times. These comparisons are getting ridiculous.

Or maybe you just didn't see the simplicity in what I was saying. Clottey sucks and Narvaez is better. I really made no other point nor tried to. I'm not sure what this bull**** about weight was. Narvaez has fought at bantam before. Clottey lost every big fight at welterweight. So how is Clottey a more formidable welter than Narvaez at bantam?

From 2007 to 2011 Bradley has one of the better resumes of any fighter. Tons of notable names and plus he went across the sea and won a world title. Ward good resume as well beating Bika, Kessler, Miranda, etc. and beat them in convincing fashion and in different ways. And that is true, Donaire does get just a slight edge in the skill department because he does have that power that Ward and even Bradley don't. either way, if Donaire goes up to 122 and cleans that out beating Nishioka, Rigo, even Ramos then he definitely justifies himself being a top 5 fighter. It's just, at the moment, I feel it is premature.

What now? I should retract or stick by the word "PERHAPS" and saying that I didn't know because we can't judge off of fighting one name fighter at bantamweight? Um, yes, Pete. I certainly stick by my "perhaps, considering both size and talent" and "I don't know" sentiments which were so controversially and militantly expressed. I feel very strongly in both the perhaps, considering the size and the not knowing. I didn't think that would be controversial to say I didn't know and perhaps. But, controversy aside, I think I'll stick by it to ruffle feathers.
