    hmm says... who you got?

    souce

In the latest edition of "Keeping up with the Donaires", Rachel Marcial-Donaire confirms that Nonito Donaire Jr. is set to fight Rafael Concepcion [13 W(KO 8) + 3L (KO 2) + 1D] from Panama at the Hard Rock Hotel Casino and Events Center in Las Vegas on August 15.

Rachel also talks about Nonito's previous blog entry and shares her thoughts about Michael Jackson's death, Chris Brown and living in a deserted island. I also posted a video from the Donaires personal Vlog as they prove how "balut" is indeed beneficial to a person's knees.

This blog entry and video are also available in Nonito Donaire Jr's official website www.FilipinoFlash.com. Check it out to find out more about "The Filipino Flash"!

Not pleased that Concepcion is his opponent. How is it possible that one man could go from having future fights with Jose Lopez and Fernando Montiel and end up with Raul Martinez and Rafael Concepcion?

Not that I'm saying that the last two are bums but Nonito has had the misfortune of the former two backing out of fights with him for various reasons.

Its a good stay busy fight for Donaire, I rather have him fight Concepcion over Cazares. Expect this fight to go the full 12 for sure and if it ends in a KO it will likely be Donaire on the canvas.

Is this the same Concepcion, the 13-3 fighter who lost to Darchinyan leftover Arce?

I'm jealous of you NonAire fans because every time Darchinyan wins, Nonito's stock rises, and that doesn't work the other way around, poor Vic has to work hard for his own stock since NonAire fights absolute jokes.

He should leave the stock market before he's asked to say a few good words to Darchinyan's HOF entrance.

Why can't he just fight the top guns in his division?

What's the problem with this guy? Darchinyan has fought Mijares, Arce and a slew of good fighters enroute to a nice rebound career path while this upstart Donaire, after that celebrated win over Darchinyan, has fought all the dirt of the universe.

    Go figure.

Probably a better fight then Cazares...Hugo was heading for bad beating.

Conception showed some promise against Arce and his occasional dirtiness could throw Nonito off a little...but really if he is getting bashed by Arce then Nonito should tear him a new one even quicker and probably will little resistance.

Still not the level of fighter he should be fighting..hopefully that starts changing soon.

DAMN!! this kid really cant take good break...at this point of his career its already unacceptable for him to fight these kind of fighters

i guess that's the problem w/ being a high risk low reward fighter and his managerial problems didn't help either...**sigh**such a waste of talent

I remember when he was still with Shaw he was offered a spot on the Vic-Kirilov undercard...Now that may seem like a little bit of a slap in the face, to be on the undercard of the man you have already brutally stopped but really that essentially sets up the rematch with Vic and gives Nonito a shot at a title in his second division.
If he had beaten Vic (and I think he would have)..then anything could have happened..Montiel, Arce or the golden boy of the time Mijares.

But he went with Arum....and his career continues to go from strength to strength.
