As for this, should be a good scrap, got Donaire winning by midround TKO around the 7th.

 

Pretty good fight actually, the most interesting fights though are nishioka and rigondeaux, hopefully those happen in 2012 as well.

Another decent name, another weight class. Not sure Donaire is getting the right sort of attention for his achievements. I think some weight class dominance is needed but now he is stepping up again. He can only go so high in weight. Eventually he is going to hit his limit and if anything goes wrong it will be harder to go down in weight and carry on the accomplishments. Its easier to win the belts/big fights as you go up in weight rather than vica versa.

 

I like this fight but not for Vasquez. Vasquez shoulda rematched Arce before he took this fight. This one will be a good little brawl but Donaire will have it under control inside 10 rounds. That beautiful left hook will be on display again!

 

Knowing that ****ing scumbag POS Arum, after this fight Donaire will probably fight somewhere around October or November against some midget coming up a couple divisions up in weight.

 

Hopefully not, if donaire doenst make some dumb move trying to get to gbp again. I want to see him fight nishioka and/or rigondeaux this year then move up to 126 where russel jr and mikey garcia will be waiting, I expect gamboa and lopez to have moved up by then.

 

It isn't as awful a match-up as many think.

Donaire should be the favorite, but isn't immortal.

People were too quick to write Vazquez off for losing to Arce in a cinderella man performance.

 

Even if he doesnt, i can still see it happening...How long did it take him to get a name like Montiel after beating another good name in Darchinyan??

I really like Vasquez as a fighter. I think he'll lose to Donaire but I'm hoping it wont be an embarrassing KO.

 

i can see donaire getting in trouble here just like the way he had trouble with concepcion. vazquez is a big guy and remember that donaire would be moving up in weight yet again.

 

If I were Vasquez's management I would realize he is not ready and Donaire could ruin his career.
