I just think there's a few people on forums like this who overrate him. When the reality is he's a bang average C level fighter at best. I've seen lots of his fights since he signed with Frank Warren, I just haven't seen the ones previous to that /the three losses. I also don't like the way he ducked Rigondeaux after calling out his name for ages! That was a shameful, embarrassing cowardly duck, he must have been scared of the Cuban little man.
Donaire got a lucky win in he fight he was losing, but hes a super guy, the consummate professional so I can't hope that he loses. So I'm going with him to win the tournament.
Anybody who read the original interview knows that was a media created duck. He clearly said that he would like to challenge Rigondeaux, down the line. Several websites quoted the challenge Rigondeaux part, but left out the down the line part. Warren was trying to force the fight on Tete as punishment for destroying Paul Butler. Tete was still making 115 comfortable, and wanted fights with Inoue and Gonzalez, but Warren tried to move him up two weight classes, to 122. You seem more hurt than Frank Warren about Tete destroying Butler.
Why can you not accept it was a clear duck.I've never known someone make such pathetic excuses. You cannot call someone out who is practically in the same weight as you and then turn the fight down! He made himself look like a coward. He's an even bigger coward than Gervonta Davis ducking Lomachenko
