Round 1

Fleming down in the opening seconds off a wild looping right as they came together slinging lead overhands and playing a game of patty-cake with their conflicting-stance jabs parrying off each other with their heads bowed in a collision exchange! Flash knockdown, he bounces up immediately. Fleming is assuming control, not letting the KD get to González's head, keeping a right jab in his face and shooting the left cross into his chest. González is unable to recapture lightning in a bottle and having a hard time getting his shots past the waiting glove of Fleming as he uses it to parry, crouching and rolling his weight from side to side to stay in position to catch & shoot.

Round 2

González is dabbing the air with his left jab, pawing it out into the right mitt of Fleming. The wrist of Fleming comes down like a gavel to knock González's left hand down, and Fleming pokes him with a straight left on the belly. González is walking the shorter man down, keeping a high guard, elbows tucked almost to meet his belt line to screen out Fleming's stabbing body attack. Fleming is turning and countering González from side-on as González tries sashaying in with a double jab and chopping right.

The commentator for ABS-CBN2 is being extremely critical of both, pretty much only pointing out their negatives and reticent to give either credit for anything. He's judging both as if holding them up to world class standards. Like, dude...chill. This is for a vacant "WBC Continental Americas title". It ain't that serious.

For what this is, they're both doing some things well and executing their game plans within their level.

:yep I think he just doesn't have a dog in the race since neither is Filipino and is probably getting impatient for the main event. (the PPV in the PI started almost 4 hours ago, with a lot of junk on the card before this and Magsayo vs. Avalos just prior)
