Prior to the Vic Darchinyan fight i had seldom seen very much of this EXTREMELY talented man. Its a damn shame boxing continues to ignore or subconsiously discriminate against the lighter weight divisions in boxing. The lighter weight divisions have many great fighters. The pick of the bunch has got to be Nonito Donaire, I knew this man was good, but seriously, he is a master tactician. He has GENUINE two fisted power, (not concussive) but as a result of his balance and timing, he is LETHAL. He can fight in both stances and knows his way around the ring. Add in a bit more head movement and he will be complete. I seriously do not see anyone beating this man between 112-118lbs.

Skill for skill its not in question who has the most skills betwen Pacquaio and Donaire. Why do the Pacquiao fans who (right or wrong i presume are mainly Fillipino's) worship Pac Man don't appear to show the same love for Donaire? Baring in mind i have seen only bout 10 of his fights, I'm very impressed to say the least. Thoughts?

He is a COMPLETELY different fighter to Pacquiao. RARELY do fighters leave such a impression on me when i watch only a handful of their fights. This man is special indeed.

    :good

its gonna be a good fight. stevie is much more polished and can take a punch. but can he nuetralize bernabes speed and aggression against him?

this is conceptions biggest test. i'd love to see him flatline luevano.

    :bbb

LMAO. 'Flatline' Luevano. what you got against Luevano. Back to Donaire he is the best Pinoy around, by a mile. P.S Thats Including Bautista........i was telling cats from day one this dude was soft.

i got nothing against stevie. i just like the kid conception and this is the fight that could launch his career.

donaire is a solid technical boxer with great speed, quickness & accuracy. wtf is going on with his promoter? -i thought he fired gary shaw b/c he wasnt getting any big fights, yet he seems to be in the same boat now. if nontio would get more exposer, he'd have more fans.

after vic demolishes arce, a rematch with donaire would be huge.

did you think his win over vic was a flop?

If he's manged the right way and faces the right competition, he can be a Pinoy superstar too although he won't be big as pacquiao. I can't wait for the Martinez fight.

Something special in Donaire that you dont get out of any other fighter today is his style change. He can fight ortho or southP. I've seen him go back and forth a few times in the same round. And he's very smart, Donaire is something special man. Donaire is really one of the best p4p fighters in the world.

:good i totally agree with that. the man has serious skills. its seems like he can do it all. the only thing i can see weakness wise is he a bit robotic with the head movement. He and Rafa Marquez i feel are EASILY up there with the best in the world p4p skillwise.
