i wouldn't call murderin Vic Darcyinyan a p4p talent, "not doing ****"..... but i see what you're getting at, but he has the skills, the talent, and the know how in order to be great, if not more then that the only question is does he have the discipline, and the right promoter, if he does, then i definitely could see that happening for him btw....i'd love to see Nonito Vs. Juanma some1 down the line, that fight would be great
The guy definitely has the skills... but i'm not sold with him yet specially with his last fight where he got hit far too many. He lacks head movement and he usually gets cocky ( i hate showboating) and puts his hands down and gets hit coz of that. The fight with montiel would have convinced me but unfortunately it didn't happened. till then...
technically, i think this guys is very good. similar to gerry penalosa in terms of countering skills. but he seems to lack the raw aggressiveness and ferocity of pac. i am not entirely sold on him as the next superstar, a great fighter yes, similar or a bit higher than the level of gerry penalosa but in terms of achievement, we will have to see.
fair enough, i feel what you saying... but i heard it was from lack of focus leading up to the fight, but hell, he won though....and it aint like he looked horrible, he just aint look great, but yea...thats why i said what i said about the discipline, i think he may be into "Mike Tyson" mode right now, getting gassed up and not putting in the proper work in the gym....but hopefully i'm wrong and he shows discipline and dedication to the sport, cuzz it would be a waste for him to just end up being the next Zab Judah ya know? so yeah, hopefully his next fight'll show us one or the other
just watched his fight against luis maldonado, that was vintage donaire.. he is slick, cautious but can be ferocious at times
