His P4P rank has everything to do with my hate for him, his shitty matches and HBO force feeding his shitty matches to us is the icing on the cake SN: atsch at the Rios match not being the main event, when Rios has a strong cult following in the us and Mexico, and Donaire is trying to work towards that
Ward was brave enough to clean out a stacked division from top to bottom while just demolishing the best LHW out there:deal Donaire won't even fight the best in his division and Roy and HBo were lightweight making excuses justifying his duckage
So you acknowledge Montiel is over rated. I am not saying he is a bum, just over rated by Donaire fans. Nishioka is not a bum. He was a good fighter who was retiring when Top Rank called. The man is 36 and hadn't fought in a year. While he does have a couple quality wins on his resume that was before he was on the shelf for a year. In his current state Nishioka wasn't the best available opposition. If he had of still been active they would have never matched Donaire with him.
Donaire didnt even clean his division though, Donaire over the Klits, and JMMatsch The more I think about this **** the more I'm getting mad:fire
You're just stating personal opinion. How can you be so sure if they would not have placed Nishioka in the line of fire had he been active. Moot point. Actually, your argument was weak that's why I can even let one point for you. That's why I said "we'll give you that one."
I can agree with the frustration of a pound for pound guy getting fed baby food repeatedly when there are quality opponents available. Fighting old men, smaller men and unskilled men is down right distasteful. People around his weight that are better than all of his previous opposition are, Moreno, Mares, Rigondeaux, Agbeko, Salido etc. There are quality guys for him to fight.
montiel was ranked #7 p4p when donaire stopped him. nishioka is the #1 ranked 122 fighter when donaire stopped him. first to beat and stop darchinyan who has never been stopped again even at present. This content is protected
Agreed, his resume and performances don't excite me. He has a strange, unnatural right hand. The only punch I like of his is the left uppercut. He doesn't throw impressive combinations and he leans a lot while only throwing 1 or 2 punches at a time. I truly believe Rigondeaux is the talent in the weight division, his boxing skills and explosive athleticism puts Donaire's to shame imo. Rigo has the complete package, the balance, posture and the smoothness that Donaire doesn't have.
You don't rank fighters in style points however, and that's the problem. Pacquiao didn't have the most pristine technique but he earned the spot to be there.
I would suggest you learn to read the responses to your idiotic troll thread, but clearly you have no interest in the facts that destroy your pathetic grudge.
As someone one on most if not all P4P rankings he should be fighting better, but he has earned the right to be there by winning titles in 4 weight divisions. Also pretty much no matter what big named fight this year was the main event wasn't going to be good in comparison.
And you saw how Marquez makes Pac pay with counter punching, it would be the same story with Rigo against Donaire. Rigo is the sort of fighter who makes you pay for any mistake, and Donaire makes plenty of mistakes. Rigo is more than just style and I want to see him fight the best, it's a shame that Donaire doesn't want it for whatever reason.
Because he has P4P some of the best skills in boxing and he has P4P some of the most impressive wins in boxing as well. Not hard to figure out really. Oh WAIT this is the same **** who hates Martinez and calls him overrated atsch
