i don't think it's about trying to make donaire look better. it's true. he is a counter puncher. rigondeaux forced donaire to lead with feints, beautifully clean and impressive counters...and just overall superior ring generalship. all of those things lead to donaire looking like a fish out of water...being forced to lead and paying the price in almost every single exchange. donaires best wins, darchinyan, montiel etc...have come as the result of fighters coming at him aggressively.
