Great fight. Donaire looked surprisingly good and that chin in the air will come back to haunt Inoue. But 114-113? Seriously? Tough fight, but surely Inoue won the clear majority of rounds and also had the KD.

 

Your reply with pic of Barrera vs Morales 3 reminded me of something I noticed in yesterday's fight and had intended to look into afterwards, but then forgot, as is how i do most things in my life. Even after reading the glove comments, and my mentioning what i've always thought were truly some vomitous looking, and inducing, ugly @5$ gloves used in BM 3 (BM, see what I did there?) The yellow gloves, as seen in the provided picture, are made by the Japanese brand "Winning." Morales wore this brand throughout his career, and during almost every single Erik Morales fight broadcasted on HBO, the brand of gloves was mentioned, usually by Lederman, saying they disadvantaged a puncher. So, knowing all that, I was kinda surprised to see both guys wearing the brand yesterday. I say kinda on account of Inoue's being from Japan. Does anyone know for certain though if that is the reason and has he used them in previous fights? I just started Donaire/Vic 1 to see if they were used by either guy way back when and from what I see the answer is a no. Looks like Donaire is in Reyes.
