Pulling for donaire.. He's at the end of the road but he's been one of my favourites over the years and while I think inoue is brilliant I'm hoping the old man's got one more great performance left in him

If you think Nicholas Walters beat the crap outta Nonito, wait until you see what Naoya does to him.

Inoue >>>>>>>> Walters p4p, but Walters is naturally bigger than Donaire, who in turn is bigger than Inoue. FWIW. :nusenuse:

2 weightclasses up and Walters was even big for that weight. Not really a comparison indeed.

Inoue is a hype job Donaire will break his jaw no offense. Donaire is getting old but still has enough. I got Donaire Split Decision

Donaire still has a lot left and could be trouble for many top fighters in and around his division. But Inoue is all wrong for him. I think Inoue wins big and early.

Japanese media is reporting that Inoue will be walking out not to his usual entrance song, but to a reworked version of "Battle Without Honor or Humanity", composed by Tomoyasu Hotei (apparently good friends with Monster despite being over twice his age :nusenuse:) originally for the Kill Bill soundtrack, and customized for Naoya personally.

This is a fairly disappointing final, with Burnett's nuts imploding after a few rounds of Donaire pressure, and then Tete possibly losing his nuts as well pulling out with an alleged shoulder injury. Donaire didn't earn his spot in the final.

I just want to see Inoue get cracked on the chin. That's all! see how he can take a shot? See if that whisker and heart is ATG caliber.

Interesting, good comment, but a minor correction. Battles Without Honor or Humanity was a Japanese movie from 1973 and the song used in Kill Bill was originally part of the soundtrack to the year 2000 sequel New Battles Without Honor or Humanity. Tarantino saw that film and put this song into Kill Bill vol. 1 three years later.
