I was pretty disappointed in Yamamoto. He looked to have a fair bit of ring rust and hesitated to strike in the Thai clinch. Barely threw any knees etc. In fact Warren outstruck him in the clinch more often than not. Evidently, it was a bad idea to throw him into a GP without any tune-ups.
Yeah, but to be honest when they made the matches they probably thought it would more or less be a tune up. Credit to Warren though, he has come into the GP and done very well. Hopefully, Kid stays injury free is back in action soon.
