1. How many of them were REAL knock downs? 2. How many of those fights did he go on to win by knock out? Anyone who doesn't take those two questions into account when questioning Tito's knock downs doesn't know **** about ****.
One thing I can say about this fight, is that it is just about the most hectic mythical matchup there is. The two were weapons of mass destruction at this weight, both brutal punchers, both able to be hurt but on the other side of the coin both could recuperate within a Saad Muhummed like timeframe. Their offensive skills such as their technical ability, punch placement, the kit of punches they could use and timing were both superb. Ive always just leant toward Norris for no reason in particular. Both guys talents almost cancel each other out, just think it comes down to who lands first if you had to split them.
they peaked at different times. if norris had taken that fight he'd be in a far worse state than he is now
Norris could conceivably fight a perfect fight with a perfect game-plan and win, but I don't see it. Norris was too prone to trade and Trinidad was an accurate puncher. Tito suffers his traditional 2nd round knockdown, then gets up and stops Terry a round or two later.
norrris is ****in under-rated a mentally focussed terry norris would have stopped tito brutally similar to the way he KO'd donnald curry
