I've got giardello winning too but what has he got to do with Philadelphia. He's a yank.

 

Hopkins is way to underrated and hated on this forum to get the win on here....but he does take my card and the judges!

 

That’s a lie!!!! He was born in the toxic wasteland known to some as New York, but was saved from that horrible environment and transplanted to South Philly where he was able to flourish and reach his full potential as a boxer and a human being!

 

He's a great no doubt but thats mostly for his longevity. His resume is not atg to me.

Anyone notice that Joey Giardello threads took a massive spike in popularity right after he was used as PhillyPhan's middleweight Philly rep in our Philadelphia vs Italian American competition?

 

BHop would beat the **** out of him.

Tough pick. Two great, clever boxers. Would probably be more interesting to hypothesise than watch though.

 

I agree with this and think it would be like my dream match of Loughran vs Hopkins, more entertaining to discuss than to watch
