If Norton circ 1973, had faced Holyfield who beat Stewart in their first fight?
Holyfield did struggle against Alex at times, how would he have fared against a pumped up Kenny Norton?
    12 rounds.

If Norton could withstand Holyfield's punches (I suppose he could), it's a toss-up.

This fight would probably go the distance and be scored as a contreversial split decision that could go either way.

Close fight. I'd say Holyfield guts out a win by outworking Norton, but it'd be a great fight to watch.

I think Norton out boxes him. His defense was better than Holyfield's. He's just as quick and he had a nice left jab. Norton 8-4

Stewart had guts imo. He really gave Holy an hard fight. Only Tyson got him out early in his prime and look what he did to Foreman s face!.
While Stewart wasn't any where as good as Norton, he did absorb at lot of hard shots from the Real Deal.. So yes, maybe Kenny does.

One of the biggest factors IMO would be Norton's left jab. Evander didn't do that well against guys that had a first class left. I could see Evander frustrated similar to the Moorer fight without the (Southpaw) factor.

You have every right to suppose what you want, but I think he could probably withstand Holyfield`s punches (like Ali's and Holmes's punches).

Well, for me it could go either way. Norton was a great boxer. His two defeats against Ali (has beaten him once of course) and his loss against Holmes were close and controversial. I think he wasn't as great as Holyfield, but styles make fights and Norton had much more problems against big puncher than Holyfield. However, when his opponent couldn't knock him out, Norton was super strong (powerhouse and forward-pressing fighter with tremendous workrate).
