    always been one of my favourite rounds. holmes was a great fighter.

    Take your campaign elsewhere. They are throwing looping tired punches because it is the 15th round in a very hard competitive Heavyweight fight.

    No, I agree. It was amazing to see big guys in a 15th round going to war like that. HOWEVER, it is still possible for boxers of today to be as good!

    C'mon now.. I'm not saying it ISN'T possible, however - it is EXTREMELY unlikely!

    Look at the "good" HW's today.. they are typically 30pounds overweight, and get gassed after throwing 30-40 punches for 4 rounds (if that). Most HW's are just pathetic - fat and lazy.

    HW's used to be in great shape, without much extra weight at all - so they typically weighed 200-220lbs, nowadays they weigh 230-260. They used to throw 80-100 punches for 15 rounds, now they can barely throw 40 for 12. They used to move around the ring with solid footwork, now they are flat footed from the very first round.
