For some reason every copy of the Norton vs. Holmes fight I've viewed has a color change every 5 or so seconds for just 1 second. It appears to be caused from the reflective flashes from the cameras people are taking from ringside.

I have never noticed this before, makes me blink every time it shows up while viewing the fight. I wonder why I have not noticed it from other fights I've watched. Has anyone else noticed or have an explanation for this phenomenon?

Doesn't sound familiar, guess I'll just have to bite the bullet and rewatch it. Woe is me.

have 2 different copies of this fight on DVD one is Bob Sheridan commentating the other is Howard Cosell. Neither have this issue. Oh, and Norton the champion is announced first so that wasn't just unique to the Holmes-Cooney fight like people want you to think it is. Holmes was also announced first against Berbick.
