Norton vs Holmes

In an early taste of what was to come, Norton was not to see a return fight.

 

100% i read where Larry said after the fight he wasn't fighting him again straight after the fight. I'm trying to remember tho, perhaps they were going to fight again if Norton beat Shavers. Yes Shavers - Norton was an eliminator apparently. Norton was #1 and Shavers #2. So i guess of Kenny won it would have been on again.

Even if one only saw the fight and the scorecards for the first, say, 6 rounds without seeing the balance of the fight, just based on the math, they’d know Norton had a hell of a job before him for the rest of the fight to try to pull up level or even eclipse Larry.
