You could just about understand it if it was occasionally but it seems that every other TV show now has either a robbery or a ludicrously wide card, and it's not just one or two judges all the time.

    johnny nelson - carlos deleon
    anders hugger - louis azille

Dreadful decision but interesting fact for some of you is the amount of money that went on Williams over the past week and today, his price was forced down from 5/1 to 7/4 in places.

Someone knew something. He only lost 4 rounds on two of the cards.

Wouldn't surprise me. Nice inconspicuous type of fight to try and pull a stunt on.

maybe...but form the strart norton looked a weak champion. tricky to beat but dolan and steads where not incredibly tough wins. and he struggled with them both. but you have leon williams who is aggressive powerful and can whack.who has been outboxed in most of his fights but makes up for by doing what he does and who also lost to turba fairly recently a guy who might possibly get in line for the british tilt. (which could be a good match by the way) the bookies thought they could make a mint i think. and it backfired.

Someone should tell Williams that when moving your head looking to get inside your supposed to advance your feet foward, otherwise its pointless as you just end up getting picked off cause your staying out at the range of your opponent.

The body language from Williams was terrible!, his head dropped after about 2 rounds and he looked dejected for the most part, like he'd already packed it in.

You would think that that type of thing wouldn't happen these days, especially with all the media spotlighht on the event. This quote from another thread about Boxnations coverage struck me as odd. The posting was made at 6:45 last night (friday) and describes part of Boxnations coverage tonight (Saturday).

"Also joining this illustrious lineup, on the phone, will be Leon ‘Solid’
Williams and his manager/co trainer Johnny Eames to take a look back at
Friday’s defining domestic title battle as well as give their views on
Huck-Rossi, which will be shown live from Germany from 8pm."

It seems odd to be inviting Williams onto a show when he could quite easily have been the loser...that would have gone down like a lead balloon. Did the schedulers and boxnation know something before last nights fight that we didn't?

Despite his awful style I am gutted for Rob Norton...he's had the chance of winning a Lonsdale belt outright snatched from him
