Nose damage.

    Broke my nose when i was younger, got the surgery on it to fix it but during the healing process someone hit me with a rather large stick which broke it again and I just left it. Then I broke it again a few years later. I can only breath out one nostril now.

    Yeah I've got the same thing. Really annoying but you get used to it.

    I broke my nose, didn't get it sorted out and now have a deviated septum. Really isn't any point in getting it repaired if I'm boxing either... I'll probably break my nose again and the procedure to correct it is meant to be pretty unpleasant.

    The mexican headguard is a great idea and just really work on a tight defense and head movement - what better motivation to improve your defensive skills and to not get hit than fear of busting your nose up worse :)

    Haha yeah. My defense sucks.

    Actually nobody answered my question: Is it normal that the tip of your nose becomes soft after training for a while?
