Hey everyone. I had a deviated septum surgery on wednesday - dealing with a lot of swelling/bleeding at the moment. Not alotta fun. Wondering if anyone's dealt with the same issue and how the recovery process unfolded. Also, any advice on a headgear with a nose protector? I cant go for Winners or anything too expensive - I saw a Title geadgear with a nose guard for 50 bucks, does it do the trick? Want to minimize the chances of having the surgery again... Cheers
got hit by a car many years ago, broke nose, didnt get it reset and and so was hard to breathe out of it,then my glass nose got popped not long ago in sparring and felt tender for about a week , feels okay now. anyway my nose feels crocked inside my nostrils but theres not much point getting it fixed if intend to box, maybe after.
Had mine taken out years ago. After 6months you will feel you have new Lungs:yep, Warning, take it easy for 3 months and make sure you dont Spar. Work steady state and gradually build on it, good luck.
Don't spar for a while... I had mine fixed about 5 to 6 years ago now as it was smashed... i had it broken about 5 or 6 times between the ages of 13 and 17 (Gang's like to mug young people and smash them up where i live) :verysad Mine is fine now... i don't like to get hit in it at all though and i protect it loads when fighting.
