'Not A Fan of Pacquiao'

He gave my idol a beatdown, and his trainer accused him of trying to load his wraps.

I appreciate Pacquiao. Respect him, consider him to be the best fighter of this generation, but I'll never be a "fan".

 

You wasn't around here when all these fools were saying that Mosely, after he destroyed Cheato, would beat Moneymay. That Floyd was ducking Mosely. After Floyd made Mosely look like a b-level fighter all the haters defaulted back to the same arguments you are now making.

 

Respect begets respect. Floyd should appear respectable before anyone respects him as a person and boxer. Beating his wife and child is no way to gain respect, isn't it? Ducking Pac is also no way to gain respect as a boxer.

 

Can Floyd still make 140lbs? I think Manny can still make it easily.

Another alt? You hate Pacquiao because of his style of fighting? But who can argue with success? He has shown everyone that he has the speed, variety of angles, the chin, the heart of a warrior, etc. Floyd's fans are equally obnoxious. That evens out.

Manny is what you want in a boxer ,Some of his fans are not what you want in boxing .

 

It goes with the territory. Other boxers have their own share of such fans.

 

Some love philthy talentless rapping. Others like equally talentless karaoke singing...

Some like beating women and children, others beating opponents in the ring...

Some like people exuding bravado with their pouty effeminate mouths, others love peeps showing it with their intrepid masculine fists...

It's all a matter of taste.
