This is really depressing. It's a disgrace, actually.

If things keep decelerating like this, the average HW schedule in ten years is gonna be one fight every three years.

Can you imagine the discussions in 10 years time, when comparing to our current era, the young guys of our day are gonna be like "the HWs in my day fought 3X as much!" lol.

It seems that the UK is the only place where boxing is popular now and draws a crowd. It is dying in the us. There is an also a lack of TV dates in the us.

Oh his not. But Fury and Wilder most certainly are. Boxing if running our of faded fighters past the age of 38 and frauds for title matches,

The frustrating thing is there's no shortage of really interesting fights to be made.

I don't know if it's lack of imagination of the promoters, fighters asking too much money or what . but seems an utter waste.

Tbh I dont see anyone of the new generation of heavyweights becoming the face of boxing. Guys like Hrgovic, Joyce, Jalolov, Dubois Sanchez or Yoka will be very hard to promote. When AJ, Usyk, Wilder and Fury retire, the heavyweight divison will be very boring these following years imo.

The alphabet orgs really should go out of their way to always make sure there is a unified undisputed heavyweight champion

    1. Usyk vs. Fury (= KO Fury)
    2. Wilder vs. Ruiz (= KO Wilder)
    3. Joshua vs. Whyte = (Draw)
4 . Hrgovic vs. Bakole = (UD Hrgovic)

    Suggestion:

We all should tweet messages to @EddieHearn @SauerlandBros @WassermanBoxing @BobArum @FrankWarren and @premierboxing and tell them to get some heavyweight matchups made ASAP.

Do you guys not even pay attention to what’s going on?

Eddie Hearn promised us AJ was fighting in December. They’ll surely announce it any day now.

Hrgovic was also supposed to fight in December, but that fight will not happen and the reason is unknown, this inactivity does not benefit the boxers, and when the fight happens, they are not at the highest level...

I agree that those guys will be hard to promote and don't have any kind of fan base or City to fight in. Although Daniel Duboius and Joyce don't have that problem. Their from the UK
