All I could think of reading this was Don King and his “double shock power” comment.

Just throwing it out there, but Pac was far more careful and as a result, less aggressive after KTFO6. He fought for like a decade longer after that.

Inoue will also have to be more careful at higher weights where opponents are punching harder. I'm not hating on him at all, merely acknowledging that there are limits, weight classes exist for a reason etc.

That would still be better than what anybody else from 154+ is doing.

Excitement is fine, but going overboard....................

Phenomenal win, maybe even p4p # 1 worthy win. But my God now people are saying WW's (with no proof of this) would fold under his power. That's crazy

CWs (Marciano) & HWs (Wilder) constantly knocking out ppl. 30-70 lbs heavier via precise, clean shots with full power and perfect timing for the full count
    - Fans: nothing to see here...

Suggestion that a 122lbs one punch KO juggernaut MAY knock out any WWs 20lbs higher via precise, clean shots with full power and perfect timing
    - Fans: Whaaaaaaaa! NO YOU CAN'T SAY SOMETHING LIKE THAT ON A BOXING FORUM! NGA IS YOU CRAZY? Call the madhouse for this one! That's totally unrealistic sci-fi fantasy superhero Marvel DC Hentai cuckoo batsht talk!!! Now I need therapy FFS, thx mate! Thx a lot!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! BAN!!!! BAN!!!!!!

If you understand boxing, you know that size/power is relative. CW power and HW are in the same class because CW's are simply HW's that decided to adhere to weight standards and we all know this. CW's are often 6'2, 6'3 6'4 etc. Just like HW's are. They have the same frames. This is why they drift between the two divisions constantly. Just like 115-122 are in the same class. You're not gonna see a SMW knocking out a HW (and that's a more appropriate size comparison). Also power is relative the higher the weight, more concussive. Even non elite guys with power at higher weight classes are everywhere, they ain't rare, that ain't the case with the lower weights.

So by all means show me with proof/evidence disputing what I said (any elite 122 lb'er in history that immediately went up from 122 to 147 and was knocking out elite WW's)

Punching taller guys, bigger guys, can prove very difficult. It’s hard to punch up with the same kind of power you punch someone the same size with. Uppercuts, hooks, not as dramatic of a drop but straight punches…ain’t happening. Regardless he ain’t stopping Spence/Crawford, it’s a silly suggestion to be honest and I’m a fan of a Inoue he’s a great fighter, but weight classes exist for a reason.
