Sure...maybe it's all a ploy to make Mayweather think it will be easy on the night...not that PBF would fall for it though.

Gayrunner is not stopping Hatton. You think he can't stop Glass Jawdah but he can stop Hatton? hah.

Judah had to cheat (one of the most blatant cheats in recent history) to stop himself from being stopped.

    Mayweather TKO 11 Judah

Yep. And Hatton will do that if he has to as well. He blatantly did it v KT, so why should Floyd be any different?

It's going to be rugged. If Floyd can stay away from the punches, elbows, heads, knees and land enough, he'll win.

If he gets caught too often - it will be a very very close points decision, or he'll get stopped. To be honest though, I can't see Floyd getting stopped.

I think the thing with Hatton style pressure is that he more or less does it on the way in and then holds.

He doesn't let the hands go in close, rather he initiates the clinch, wiats for the break and then presses again - Often behind lunging left hooks. Which was evident in his last fight with Castillo on numerous occasions.

That to me is the danger zone for Hatton - Mayweather has the speed and accuracy to counter those moments - Hatton will really have to corner Mayweather to get off effectivley in my view.

I think that leaves too many chances for Floyd to counter.

Maybe Floyds next fight should be with Malinaggi so neither of them have to throw a punch, they could just dance for 12 rounds, how sweet!

Sparring is not the best indication of a fighters ability. Good sparring is concentrating more on your weaknesses and not your strengths. Watch Ali in training for the Foreman fight sparring with Holmes if you want an example

I think the key to the fight is Ricky has to come out on top in the exchanges using his power. Ricky will have to weather floyd and tag him back which he will IMO - i just hope he aviods too much damage - it would be a shame to see a cut or swelling stoppage.
