He lacks something and I don't know what but I think what hes lacking is going to cost him if/when he fights guys like Mayweather,Cotto, Mosley, or Pac. He is racking up some good wins but I don't see him being a superstar. Anyone else get this feeling?

Oh yeah, without doubt. I have no doubt that he is world class but not 'elite' world class. If Mosley don't fight Pacquiao next I would really like to see him face off with Berto. I don't think Berto would win, but I'd like to see him fight Mosley just in case?

Although, I think that Berto would give Mayweather alot of problems because of his fast jab.... but Mayweather would still win though.

Berto needs to fight some Welterweights.

He is defo FAST!!!! & has great reflexes like a cheetah....
But his chin is ready made to be taken.

Fastest hand in the WW division, bar-none. (Even more so than Pac & PBF, IMO)
But he has a very limited offence, Killer upercut w/the right hand. But that's it.
Won't win vs. elite comp, be interested in him vs. Mosley to see if the speed bothers Shane or not.

    Would ride w/Mosley.

He has that Jermain Taylor, Zab Judah syndrome. All the talent in the world but for some reason can't quite put it all together with his skills and a consistent effort. Decent win for him as I expected, but look for him to lose at the elite level once he steps up.

He held too much for my liking, which tainted his performance.

Berto is still growing I think he needs a new trainer and Floyd Mayweather Sr would be perfect for someone like Andre Berto, his trainers was telling him to clinch when he know he didn't need to.

That too... and he had a tailor made opponent standing infront of him so he should've opened up with his offense a lot more than he did.

Boring as hell and with all his talent it's a shame.
