Ok, in real life there isn't perfectly matched fights to look good to the crowd and there is no corrupt judges either. Not to mention "scripted" knockouts. Just ask Bruce seldon.

    :yep

Even you could have hit Margs 3 or 4 times in that eye and would have won. You are the greatest of all times. What a gameplan. That was classic.

How is that relevant to this bout? Half of most everyone picked Margarito to stop Cotto - this was no "perfectly matched fight". The judges never came into play and the stoppage wasn't scripted - so wtf are you talking about?

Please, that fight was going to be stopped once Cotto started to retreat.

Nah, it was stopped because Margarito has one terribly damaged eye. If you can't see out of both eyes your health is at serious risk in the ring - the doctor wouldn't be doing his job if he allowed a half-blind fighter to continue.

Fair enough. I've seen many fighters last 12 rounds with one eye shut and another half way there. But its always a fair point. In my opinion it was convenient but that's me. This isn't revenge to me. Cotto was not man enough to k.o margs. That's all I'm saying.

Ok, well, it can happen that an eye can be almost shut, but the fighter can still see out of it (at least a little). Margarito couldn't see at all, as I understand it. That means he would have no chance to react from punches to that side of his face - which is dangerous. That's why I think this stoppage is ok. I know Margarito is a crazy dude, but sometimes a fighter needs saving from himself more than anything.

It doesn't matter what you think....Cotto, took the fight to him...mixed it up with him, and utilized a completely different tactic against Margo and you aren't impressed. You're a fool....boxing is intellect, and knowing how to deal with your adversary strong points...
