Anderson impressed last night. I like his workrate and aggression for a Hw. He also seems to have a good chin because he took some flush shots he didn't see and wasn't phased. He's still learning and Forrest isn't trash he's beaten and drawn with quality fighters. Great step up fight and he passed the test I'm pleased with his progress so far.
Fights like these can be the wake up call guys need to double down on improving weaknesses. He still has far to go but with good matchmaking it's more than possible he'll be a top contender once the old guard retire. Who would you put him in with next? Hunter, Bakole, Brezeale or similar caliber?
I like the kid. He ate a few shots and closed the show emphatically. Do questions remain (can he box/demonstrate patience when his opponent doesn't fold? .... does his chin hold up against the elite?...how does he handle adversity? etc) ? Of course, but like all young heavyweights, we won't know until we know.
Defense didn't look good but my god he is relentless. 114 punches in 1 round is insane. This was a statement. Forrest drew with Zhang and Hunter, yet Anderson destroyed him in 2 rounds.
another american hype job he looks nowt special to me joshua would kill him never mind joyce fury usyk would he even beat fabio wardley
