Very well could be. But needs names on his record. At 22 he has the potential to be huge. Hopefully this is a sign of things to come in MMA.

If Rampage beats Rashad than he should get the next shot as he would seem to be a clear #1 contender. If Rashad wins I think he needs one more fight before he gets a shot.

The LHW division is absolutely stacked with talent. Rashad could be the best but we can't really know until the Page fight. Jones hasn't yet done enough to be sure, but he has looked absolutely unstoppable and he needs to be fighting the top dogs right away. The UFC has always had a killer LHW division but this is just insane. When Forrest Griffin is on the outside looking in (no matter what you think of Forrest, he has wins over Ortiz, Page, and Shogun) you know you are dealing with a stacked division.

My favorite is Jon Jones, he's kind of unproven but there is nobody I would favor over him right now. I just have a hunch/feeling about that kid, think he's gonna dominate

I agree, kinda in the way that he's the unknown element.

Machida has already dominated a few of the top guys. Jones could make a splash; he's looked fantastic so far.

Little Nog has a shout as well.

Jones hasn't beat anyone worth mentioning, although yes, he was EXTREMELY impressive in those wins and DQ against Vera and Hamil. Would have to say Rampage

Other than the Forrest hiccup, which Rua has on his record as well, it is probably Rampage. Rampage has not lost in 5 years (minus the hiccup), he has also beaten Jardine, Silva, Henderson, Liddell, Eastman and Lindland!!! Prior to that he lost to Rua who most rank second. Prior to that his losses were to Silva who he beat in his recent run. He avenged the Eastman loss too in his recent run.

If Rampage beats Evans then Griffin has to be his next fight in my opinion.

Wouldn't a win over Vera, especially such a dominant one, be counted as a pretty impressive victory. Vera would have been in and around the top-10 in the division, wouldn't he? I feel Vera, as an opponent/victim, is one worth mentioning.
