im a floyd fan and ill be the first to say he is holding up the fight from being made now and heres why i think he is doing so

2. he feels disrespected (and this i think anyone can see where he is coming from) - back in 09 when the fight ment more then anything to both guys floyd offered him 50/50, gloves and ring size both agreed upon aswell as weight. manny demanded 10 million dollar per lb weight clause, floyd agreed to it. now keep in mind floyd was the champ so at this point you have to ask yourself why the champ is giving into these demands. then all he asked for was blood testing up until the day of the fight, floyd was on the same kind of testing so it basically just made sure both guys were clean athletes.

after manny and his team declined with further deliberations he offered him 14 day cutoff, mannys team declined again and walked away from negotiations signing clottey 72 hours lateR?

now suddenly when pacquiaos stock has dropped after 1 ko loss and 1 loss (via robbery to bradley) and the fight can be made because pac is willing to do just about anything now? i mean as a person i can see why mayweather is upset, YOU HAD YOUR CHANCE i gave you more then any champ would and you walked away? now after all the bull**** smear campaign from bob arum (yes that does kind of make pac guilty by association) you want me to make both your pockets fill up?

i mean lets be honest any person when they take there personal bias against floyd out of the equation can relate to why he feels disrespected

but as boxing fans we just want that one dream fight, i honestly think its foolish to even state floyd would be scared of pacquiao at this point. the man has clearly lost a big step and even in his prime floyd was still favored to win.. so what now? when floyd still steaming ahead on top? does anyone here actually think if the fight was signed today that pac would legitimately stand any chance of beating floyd ?

Nah, if Pac had agreed to the cutoff, Floyd would have thrown another roadblock, (purse split, weight, Pac must leave TR etc) like he's been doing ever since Pac agreed to all kind of testing.
