He didn't look that great in his last fight, if yer man was a bit higher in level he would have lost it. He's still a good prospect, I wouldn't write him off after one fight.

Khurtside was able to take him right to the wire in a very close, competative fight. That worries me. I've generally been very impressed by what I've seen of him so far, and I'm still hoping for a showdown with Golovkin sooner rather than later, but his last fight raised a lot of questions.

I liked Golovkin to beat him before Khurtside and I feel even more confident about that now.

Saying that, he does look like one of the best emerging talents. Lucky for us that an awful lot of that talent happens to be at 160, so we should find out who's really the best.

You guys need to go watch Golovkin against Amar Amari were Golovkin clearly gets wobbled by a non puncher before you crown him the next Hagler.

Hassan Ndam has great chance against Golovkin because Gennady doesnt like lateral movement (watch the Ian Gardner fight ) and he doesnt take a good punch when he gets tagged by a none punching bum like Amar Amari and gets hurt.

Do your homework on these boxers 1st lads please.

Ya i've heard that before but havent been able to find the clips anywhere. How bad was it, just a momentary thing, or did he really look in trouble. Cause any boxer could be caught leaning into a punch and be hurt.

He was hit on the head by a left hook (the weak hand of the opponent) and Golovkin couldnt move his legs and did a little wobble. He was clearly hurt by the punch but Golovkin held on because he is a smart fighter but i couldnt help but think if that was actually a real fighter that hit him what would happen?

Would he wobble or go down?

Lets face it he has faced nothing but shite since turning pro and yet gets hyped as the next Hagler.

I wont be surprised if he gets stopped by the 1st real fighter he faces but the rest of ESB will.

I've watched just about every fight I can find for both guys because they're both great prospects. I think Golovkin would beat him and I also think he's the best prospect in a talent-deep Middleweight division.

How much homework should I do on him before this opinion is ok with you?

Did you watch the Amar Amari fight were Golovkin gets wobbled?

If you did , do you now think he is vunerable to the big punch?

in that last fight vid he was getting tagged a lot. Great offensive fighter but looks to lack a sound defense and for his hands down style isn't actually elusive enough to carry that off at a higher level.

Will keep an eye on him though.

Trinidad and Wlad both got knocked down by crap fighters early on in their careers. Look how they turned out. You're basing your whole analysis of Golovkin on him being wobbled? This first real fighter he faces stops him in the first :rofl. Please stop talking before you make an absolute fool of yourself.

As I said before, plenty of quality fighters have been hurt or knocked down by weaker opponents early on in their careers, it doesn't mean anything. And besides, he hasn't even been close to being knocked out, so what makes you think quality opponents would stop him in 1 round?

It's not as though N'Jikam has fought anyone good either. His best opponent has been Khurtsidze, and a lot of people felt he lost that fight. despite him having nearly every physical advantage possible over his opponent. Golovkin has convincingly beaten nearly every opponent he has faced, N'Jikam is struggling badly with b-level fighters. It's not too much of a stretch to conceive that Golovkin, based on the evidence we have of him, and his record, is a better prospect than N'Jikam. How can you not see that?

Yeah - and he's far invulnerable. If a puncher lands a big shot on him he could well be in trouble. I've seen prospects get wobbled or knocked down on their way up and after that their chin hasn't been much of a factor, so I'm not ready to say it's going to hold him back.

I was more worried by N'Jikams last fight where it wasn't just one punch, he was fought on even terms with a guy I thought he'd beat handily.

I'm still not convinced with this guy, I think the big movers and shakers behind Martinez at MW in the next 12-18months will be Pirog, Golovkin and Geale.
