If thats true then he's finished. A new trainer wont help him, if he's still afraid to throw punches.

 

Charlie Z as the next coach makes the most logical sense. He has just as much experience as Wlad, has already fought Wilder and can give Wlad pointers how to get that belt. He'd also bring that raw, caution to the wind offense Wlad is sorely missing.

 

Yeah like a new coach can make Wlad not scared to get hit. Wlad fights scared and Fury knows it. Plus Wlad has a egg chin and skin that cuts as easy as thin lunch meat. Wlad needs to retire. Fury will beat him worst next time.

 

He should make up a shortlist and speak to them all, gauge their views then give one the job of beating Fury.

 

Can't teach an old dog new tricks, especially one that's been doing the same trick for a decade. A new coach won't change his game in 6 months or make him unafraid to take risks.

He need it, but it won't be enough. Can't teach an old dog new tricks, and Wlad would need to completely change his style. Impossible. He'd need to learn to fight defensive and low, on the backfoot.

If he comes out swinging, the master defender-counter Tyson will spark him out in less than five rounds.

 

Virgil only ever did something right with Ward. I respect him but he is totally unproven as coach.

It's hard to judge who made who. Ward might just be a boxing genius that understand boxing from the get go. But Hunter should get some credit. His work with all the other fighters is atrocious though. Especially the case of Mares.

If Kltischko knows whats good for him, he'd stay away as possible from that fraud
