As i mention before - Abel Sanchez would be the best choice.
    But Klitschko probably know better.
We will see tonight what work Banks is doing with Dillian Whyte.
As i said before even Klitschko said he is trained by himself .... And thats a travesty.
Banks may be good trainer, but not and for Klitschko. He can`t motivate him, he can`t get the best of him.
Of course Klitschko is past it and is 39 years old. I dont see anyone of today boxer to be Champ at the 39 if they fight the best in the division.

By looking Klitschko speed and footwork here and now, you can say this is totally 2 different fighter. Or in Haye or Wach fight ....
    Age is unbeatable.
    ---------------------------
BTW, Holyfield as well advise Klitschko to change the coach and said Klitschko not respect the young Banks. And he say Klitschko was ready to die for Emanuel Steward and need trainer that he is ready to give it all.

Yup, or join GGG in Big Bear with Abel.

Either coach will bring out the aggression in a fighter and make him more of a search and destroy type.

Roach would do well for him also, but Im afraid if Freddie was to work the mitts for Wlad, he'd lose an arm during camp, and that could make Wlad gunshy in a fight.

Stewart couldn't bring out the aggression in Wlad.. What makes you think anybody else can?

Wlad needs therapy. He needs to give to himself what he failed to give Fury.

Although he did promise to make Fury a better person. And a better person he is:rofl

I agree completely. The only thing Jonathon Banks didn't do in the Fury fight was fill a condom with warm water and put it on Wlad's eye (like Mike Tyson's corner did in Tokyo).

Banks had no answers. He's just been there picking up a paycheck. Wlad's been training himself for a while now.

That's why you don't have an active journeyman heavyweight train the heavyweight champion.

What the hell is Banks going to tell Wlad that he doesn't know himself?

    That's ridiculous.

What was Banks saying that was wrong? Wlad failed to execute. End of story.

Bashir is the strategist. Banks is just there to hold the pads.

Wlad beat the best guy on his record under Banks/Bashir.

What would Manny have done? Got in the ring and fought the fight for him?

Well, the strategist failed miserably. Out of the gate. Wrong strategy.

Like having Hagler start right-handed against Leonard ... bad strategy.

Like he was supposed to do in the first match, but when he finally landed clean Tyson wasn't even wobblying, and Wlad stood still for a second watching Fury like he wasn't real.

Wlad believed in the glass chin theory, and look what good he did to him.

    Tyson can take Wlad's punches.

Who can fill Emmanual Steward's shoes? The guy trained 41 world champions and was a huge part of Wlad's long run at the top.

After the Wach fight , people on here were saying how Banks had brought back the more aggressive Wlad.

Always an excuse for this guy.

Tyson Fury fought a very smart fight. I was thrilled that he won. And when Wlad announced he wanted to exercise his rematch clause, I knew he'd dump his team.

    They were terrible that night.

Look at Steward in the Lewis-Tyson fight, when the referee started warning Lewis and Steward went bat-sh*t crazy in the corner at Lewis saying you've got to take him out because the referee was (whatever he said, can't recall, but along the lines of he's looking to DQ you).

And Lewis got aggressive and stopped Tyson.

I remember Steward did it again the Klitschko-Eddie Chambers fight. Wlad won every round. Every minute of every round. And I recall Steward lit into him at the end of the 10th or 11th and said, "I've had enough of these bullsh*t decisions. Finish this man." And Wlad got defensive and said, "I'm trying, Manny." And Steward wouldn't have it and just kept at him. And Wlad wasted little Eddie in the corner.

I doubt Steward would've sat there calmly and watched Wlad lose the first half dozen or so rounds before feeling like his fighter needed to step up the pace.

He didn't sit there calmly when Wlad was winning by a mile.

Good post. Steward could be the best trainer ever.
