Not only did Wilder not lose on the cards, he should have won by ko

Wilder was a manufactured FRAUD with a suspect chin BEFORE the fight, and he still a manufactured fraud who many think packs glass after the fight. Joshua would annihilate this JOKE and Fury will embarass him AGAIN if they rematch.

Don't count on either of those fights happening. Not when there are plenty of mediocre contenders with heart problems or other ailments to fight!

I just wanted to get on the record somewhere that I finally saw the fight and while Fury probably should have got the W, it wasn't the blowout it's made to be around here and went pretty much according to conventional wisdom which was (correct me if I'm wrong) that a down-on-the-cards Wilder would catch up to Fury late in the fight and stop him. It wasn't far off.

I think the reality is like Salty Dog says, the fight went as expected with Fury winning the rounds in a close fight but then getting caught late on, obviously Fury didnt stay down so the script changed at that point and Fury SHOULD have got the W in a fight that was close after the 2 knockdowns. The issue you have is the hardcore fans on both sides seem to react to each other with Wilders fans saying Wilder won and then Fury didnt make the count and then Fury was given too much time after the count ect, this is then countered by the Fury fans who say he won, then won easy then won every round apart from the 2 KD rounds. As long as you got die hard fans on each side this sort of thing wont ever stop.

No, this is not accurate at all. Referees are now encouraged to check guys out when they get up.

This referee even explained to both fighters exactly what would happen after they came up from a knockdown. That they would be asked to walk and then allowed to fight. Neither they nor their teams objected, because who would object to such a thing? It's absolutely 100% accepted in fighting.

    It's the new normal.

I agree. Fury couldn't land over 100 punches while
Wilder missed several hundred punches was expected.

I think the media Garnered support for Fury by highlighting his comeback from drugs depression. Back in the day, few would've known or cared what happened during his layoff so I didn't take that into consideration.
In the end I scored more rounds for Fury, but each round barely had 10 landed. Some rounds including both fighters combined couldn't =10 landed

Fury won 10 rounds. Even in those rounds he was knocked down in he was ahead.

With fair officiating Wilder's record is 37-4 at best:

    UD against Fury
    TKO7 against Old man Ortiz
    KO2 against Sconiers
    KO1 against Nichols

Not even counting all the rabbit punch knockouts which should be disqualifications.

I just want to say that Fury being out cold is a big fallacy. And you will agree with me if you re-watch the knockdown carefully in slow-mo (like x0.25). Just before Tyson hits the ground he looks like he is unconscious. But when he hits the ground with his back he keeps his head from the floor for half a second and then lays. This plus the fact that he was on his feet after 10 seconds and finishing the round alright. So he was still knocked down hard but not nearly as hard as some people claim. I think the reason Fury looked like knocked out was because he was very tired. When he hit the ground Fury, being very smart, decided to wait just a few seconds to gain some energy and not rush going up in case his legs couldn't hold him (he said that in an interview). I think undeniable factors are also that Fury is bigger and 40 pounds heavier and the knockdown happened in the 12 round - Wilder was also pretty tired and his punch wasn't 100% powerful.

IMO Fury was just marking for points and while this can be successful in amateur boxing, it should not be rewarded that much in professional boxing. Fury didn't connect even one serious punch to Wilder (unlike Ortiz). Fury impressed me with his ability to avoid being hit and with his stamina but I don't think he did enough to become win. it's not easy to become a champion if you get knocked down twice.

What's that got to do with the price of bacon? The facts are he was given extra time to recover. Am I right or am I right?
