The facts are the result will stand, there's no stewards inquiry in boxing. Fury did beat the count and it's routine when a boxer is back on his feet the ref has to make a decision whether to let him continue. He can't halt time to do this it takes a few seconds but does not have to be done within the 10 from the boxer hitting the canvas. That's just Wilder fans clutching at straws. Fury should have got the decision but alas as Frank Bruno used to say "that's cricket Harry"

I think the boxers faces at the end of the fight said a lot as the score cards were read out. Fury was clearly taken aback by the draw. Now when a fighter loses a close fight this is often the norm so may have been the expected reaction from Fury. However, Wilder seemed if not pleased at least very relieved at the result, not the usual reaction from a guy who thinks he won.

Seems like MVC has had a prolonged hissy fit. Will discuss this with his mother when I get the chance, this kind of behavior is not tolerated on consistent basis.

Look Wilder lost every damn round accept for the 2 knockdown rounds and Fury turned round 12 around. Fury beat Wilder with ease and Fury was not even close to the Fury that beat Wlad.

Agreed. It's a shame Wilder lacks athleticism or a chin or he would have been able to put Fury down again and take it out of the judges' hands.

He also didn't seem to understand the ref's instructions to go to the neutral corner after the KD, but that's the ref's fault for using English and not Wilderese. Hopefully they get a fluent judge for the rematch. One with a souped up stopwatch.
