Not only will Pacquiao-Mayweather be the fight of the millenium, but...

...the BUILDUP to this fight...man, that is going to be APE****.

Think about it...you got your crazy Philipino fans cheering on Pacquiao like a god. You have Mexican boxing fans, who unless Pac's fighting one of their guys, tend to consider Pac one of their own. These two groups could fill an arena themselves...and then you've got the people who just want to see Mayweather KTFO! Not sure who Europeans would generally pick (I imagine about even) or Puerto Ricans (maybe the same) but this is a world-encompassing fight.

And the 24/7 for this...that will be one for the ages. You've got Roach talking his usual ****. You've got THREE Mayweathers talking ****. Those groups together is enough for prime time TV. You've got whatever fat Philipinos who hang out with Manny doing their usual wierd ****. It's going to be EPIC!

floyds opposition will always have the crowd. the only time floyd had more 'cheers' was against baldomire only to get booed at the end of the fight.

The build up will be very good but i think the fight will be a huge disapointment.

Yup and it's only the beginning...I was listening to Shade 45 and they were asking the listeners if Pacquaio is scared of Mayweather, a lot of them were hating on Pacquaio...so I think the majority of the urban and hip hop community might b for Money

I'm not sure that will be the case. I think both fighters have everything to gain by making it a good match, without running or holding or posturing.

While I expect whoever wins to likely retire directly after (or MAYBE fight Mosley for one last big payday), they would do their reputation pretty huge damage by not making a fight out of it. If we're talking 2,000,000+ PPV buys, and the entire free world watching you...you better get in there and make a fight, or you will be remembered ONLY for your shitty performance.

I expect Pac to bring it, and I think we're going to see Mayweather make a fight out of it too. People call Mayweather boring, but I don't think so...the only fights I think he's made shitty recently were against DLH and Baldomir, the rest of his fights were skillful and entertaining. I think we'll see something like the Hatton fight.

    They might be.

While I'm a Pacquiao fan, part of me wants Mayweather to win. He's American, and I don't think he's ever done the sport any real disservice. He's loud, he's a dick sometimes...but he's also one of the greatest fighters you're ever going to see in the ring. He's never come to the ring in anything but supreme shape.
