It would be preferable to see Vitali Klitschko getting either brutally KOed or simply lose via UD. Think about it. He's absent for years , comes back...and for what ?...

Since he'll never fight his brother , both are just gonna ruin any chances to reunite all the belts. Unless of course The likes of Haye or Povetkin find a way to beat both Klitschkos.

It is a scary thought...what if Vitali comes back in fresh form ? The only thing that can stop him is a huge cut. Obviously no one wants to see a fight being stoped because of a cut , especially if he's winning (like he was against Lennox)... But enough is enough...Unless he's gonna do the unthinkable (fight wladimir)....his return is like a cancer in the HW division.

A cancer because he's gonna make it even less interesting than it already is. (since he'll never bother to get all the belts).

Let's hope that he's a shadow of his former self. And that Peter finds a way to finish him and fast... I'm not a Klitschko hater but i'd much rather see 1 clear champion...

Wonderful post, I agree on every point. I would just like to add one thing, if Vitali does somehow pull out the upest victory, whats that say about Wlad? He fought a very green 25 yearold Peter, and looked horrible in victory, hitting the canvas 3 times, numerous panic attacks, turning his back at points during the match, and excessively holding his way to victory, so if a 4 year inactive Vitali knocks out a prime Sam Peter, Wlad's win looks less then special.

I'm also concerned with the fact that if Vitali does win, look for him to hold on to the belt until he's forced to give it up by the WBC, the last time he held it hostage for 1 year (Dec of 04 to Dec of 05).

If he does somehow pull out the upset? I think Vitali is supposed to win. He does everything better than Sam. I hope Sam wins because it's better for boxing, but I don't see how he can.

you took words out of my mouth exactly...I don't wanna see some guy holding the hw division hostage...Just when you thought things were gettting better....Viltali comes in. **** this....I'm only for it unless he's willing to fight his brother. But that would be kinda like incest...He'd never do it.

I do....If Vitali is different from the last time...He's ****ed.
If he's in top condition...then it's bad news for Peter...

But let's not forget that it's the hw division and anything can happen. It only takes one huge bomb to end it all and sam Peter is capable to land one of the bombs... (But Vitali's chin is actually way better than wlad's...so who knows..maybe it won't change ****)

Yep, this is the main reason I'm against the fight, as well as Vitali's infamous postponement reputation, which could also hold up progress as well. When he was talking to Maskaev about coming back to fight him in late 06, early 07, it forced then the number 1 contender Sam Peter to fight Toney again instead of fighting Maskeav for the belt, so even a semi-retired Vitali could be very dangerous to unstable division, just imagine what a belt holding Vitali could do?:scaredas:

man i havent posted in a year, but I must say, WHY DO YOU EVEN GIVE A DAMN ABOUT THE BELTS!?? THEY ARE ALL PAPER!! mean nothing. just face it, there will never be one unified champ, unified paper champ that is, if vitali can smash peter, then why the hell not? He may be the only one who can finish him. I cant wait for it personally...

Vitali is the favorite in this fight...idk wat some of u guys are talking about upset..

Anyways, I agree totally. If Sam Peter knocks out vitali in impressive fashion, that will setup an epic peter/wlad rematch.

Heavyweight boxing isn't nearly as bad as mad out to be....The right fights just aren't being made!
