Don't think you're the only one. It was a fully divided forum, and all of us who know what we're looking at have called out Eubank as a hypejob. Though props that you called him out earlier before the hype forced some of us to bother. It's blatantly, often comically obvious that he's technically badly limited and has no ring iq, and it's not like he has such amazing speed, power, or physical qualities to compensate. He was never going to beat Groves, and will never beat a top, skilled boxer. More than Eubank being exposed, it was his fans who were exposed as clueless. I'd say along with anyone who picked Hamed over Barrera and Pac over Mayweather, anyone who picked Eubank over Groves was exposed and dksab. If you picked Eubank time to go back to the drawing board, take a time out to learn the ABCs of boxing technique, and come back here when you have an educated opinion to express.
No, not at all, I think he should go for another title, I want to see Eubank-Benavidez by year's end!
CEJ said that his chin doesn't have an OFF switch but he failed to mention that his skills don't have an ON one lol
Was it just me or did Jnr look like a SMW version of Shawn Porter (head down, bull rush and swing wildly) ? Except not nearly as effective.
Hype job who loses whenever he faces a boxer with a brain, not a dumb fighter like Abraham or O'Sullivan.
Surprised nobody mentioned the referee's **** perf; he let Jr bulrush head first into Groves and hold and hit as he pleased. God awful referee.
Honestly the whole build up was so strange Groves was made out to be some 65 year old past it boxer who can’t box a 12 round fight Groves Schooled Jr tonight, few very close rounds but it was completely at Groves pace whilst the Eubanks tried (and failed) to figure out how to box Groves
If anything that worked against Jr.. he got himself cut and seemed to carry on leading with his head which made it worse haha
