He just isnt good enough, Degale would always beat him and Groves will always beat him.

  2. I just thought someone on here might know the craic.

Regards to the possible reasons, who knows?

It's not a question about if for example he hasn't trained properly, had he done so would he have won. I know most of your opinions on this already.

I just want to know if there was an issue. What was it he wasn't doing? And if it is the case why do less before the most important part of your career?

It's all speculation really. Why does anyone **** about. This question need not be restricted to smith. What about people like Murray and Mitchell etc?

Well Saturday he can't make any excuses, Joe G in corner and Groves in front of him he's got to do it or else accept he's not that good.

Havent heard anything about training issues from the Smith camp. What I have heard is that Joe G whips you into much better shape than the Vaughans were able to.

Liam Smith said when he first spoke to Joe G he told him he needed to go through the gears more with opponents. Smith asked how? Joe said well you can't at the moment because you dont have the gears there.

Thats what Joe does is drill in a level of fitness so you are able to switch the pace of the fight. If and when you need to piling on the pressure when you need to.

This I would say does have its downsides as found out by Smith who probably is well adjusted to be a pressure fighter and if you fight that worng fight against some opponents they will pick you apart.

  5. That's a fair enough statement mand.

Can't wait for the fight itself
