    Okay I can buy into this. Just that Foreman learned much of his defense from Sonny, so it's likely that contributed to his durability.

    George Foreman said that the only fighter that could ever force him to move backwards was Sonny Liston. It took place shortly after Foreman turned pro following his Olympic gold medal victory in 1968. George said that Sonny Liston and Ali had the best jabs of any fighters he was ever around or in the ring with.

    The "caliper" of Wilders opponents hahaha.......you are saying they were very "measured"? :lol:

    You are right to a point but that point is circumvented when talking "power". I'd agree Wilder has fought mostly easy beats but he's also pole axed them quite violently and with very little output. His power also was evident against Fury and don't for a minute try and tell me Fury is down on skill.

    To say "his power doesn't hold a candle to some of the big guns from the classical years" is downright ridiculous.

    Regarding the eye test it's pretty clear Wilder has dynamite in his right hand, yes his opposition isn't amazing but how many other Heavyweights have you seen that consistently KO opponents with 1 punch ? i mean for example Shavers hasn't really got many notable stoppages against the very top names except Norton, but i don't think anyone question's whether or not Shavers doesn't hit like a truck.

    This is the most stupid thing I've ever seen. This forum alone has existed for almost six times that. I've been posting on here for more than that. If you truly think you're going to die in three years, wtf are you doing posting on forums? :lol:

    Can we say nothing about anything unless we have personal experience?
    If that was so we would still be in the Stone Age.
    Anecdotally, observationally...which one do you think does not hit harder than Tyson?

    Remember I am saying Tyson was better than them all.
    His punches tended to have more impact per square pound of force-since they were harder to see/faster, more accurate, & often placed in blazing combos.

    Tyson himself said he was not the hardest hitter, but so much faster than other HWs.

    Because we both know & agree that Foreman was better, that has nothing to do with how hard
    Tyson had more mass than Foreman-due to lower body muscle-just was shorter.
    Not sure that one being taller & the other more bulk below would help them...They had very particular biomechanics & made the best of things...

    Except I do wonder IF Foreman really would hit significantly harder with "better" technique.
    Maybe, but I doubt he could have been that inefficient & still hit so damn hard.
    This is unclear, can argue it either way...

    But but but-you ignored all specifics man!
    That is "cognitive dissonance"-you could not contest the content, so instead of adjusting your opinion or at least reserving judgement until you studied things more, you made an irrelevant point.

    Which is about power, & what is a discerning view of what are signs of it, isolated from the "noise" of everything else that causes KOs.

    We agree Foreman was significantly better, that is another matter entirely.

    Little did I know, that wasn’t even the dumbest thing he said on the page.

    Foreman was only KO'd once in his career, you think that might have something to do with his incredible defense? Or just good luck in the ring?

    It's not ridiculous. Wilder is simply not even close to foreman/tyson in terms of power. Close to 2nd rate never heavyweight champion shavers? Yes, I will give him that much.

    Just review the statistics. The bio-mechanics just aren't there, I'm sorry to say. He has long levers and good head speed, that's it. You are looking at horsepower when you should be looking at torque. Sure a honda civic that runs at 9000 rpm and 20lb of boost can make 600hp, but it has nowhere near the earth-shattering torque of an LT6 corvette engine.

    Wilder is 6'7" and weighs 214lb
    Foreman was 6'4" and weighed 220-225lb in his prime
    Tyson was 5'10" (though some say closer to 5'9") and weighed 218lb in his prime.

    Wilder = Devon Larratt
    Foreman = Levan Saginashvili
    Tyson = Denis Cyplenkov

    Good head speed? My, you are intimately acquainted with Deontay.
