The only insult here is that this fight is for the vacant 154 pound title when neither guy has fought at 154 legit. Complete insult on the sport of boxing and it's history. This is why boxing has gone to hell. When the promotions can get the title fights over what is right in boxing, like a guy fighting contenders to get a chance at the real champion. And boxing fans do not have anything to say about it. As much as I loved Ray Leonard as a fighter, he is the one who pulled this nonsense back in 1988 and it was wrong. 2 titles for one fight and making the champ weigh in at a division he was not champion at at 168, and yet he won a title at 175 against a weakened champ who was not that good. This stuff has to stop. This is why sports like Basketball and Baseball will always be above boxing, they stick to rules and do not deviate. What does winning a title mean now if Manny can be handed a WBC belt? I love Manny also, but this fight tommorow should not be for a belt at 154.
