Note to Versus: Get New Commentators!!!

    First, let me say that I enjoyed yesterday's fight very much, and I think it quite possibly might've been the best fight of the year.

    But that made it all the more frustrating that I had to listen to such a lousy commentating team as such a classic fight was unfolding.

    I could live with Wally Matthews, but that other idiot (I forget his name) has gotta go. He spent most of the fight just screaming inappropriately, infighting with Matthews over which guy was winning the fight (even though their scorecards were only a few points apart), scoring rounds that weren't even half over yet, re-iterating the same few points ad nauseum, and going way over-the-top on every "observation".

    Right from the very first round, when Adamek was starting slowly, he's screaming: "Wally, what's going on??? Adamek has GOT to be busier!!! He's coming forward, but he's not letting his hands go!!! He's got to step it up if he's going to win this fight!!! He could blow the fight fighting like this!!!" ... and this is just a minute and a half into the damn fight. :patsch The guy just goes way overboard trying to be "insightful" and interjecting himself into the broadcast. Someone needs to tell him that no one is watching this fight just to listen to him.

    When he started scoring rounds that weren't even over that's when I just threw up my hands. Mathews isn't bad, but when he spends all his time trying to deal with this idiot, it sort of ruins whatever he has to contribute too.

    They need to get somebody halfway decent like maybe Al Albert.

    I was thinking the exact same thing. Wally Matthews kept saying that Cunningham couldn't hurt Adamek, yet as I recall he hurt him pretty badly in the 4th Round.

    I would rather listen to Kellerman and Atlas TOGETHER than have to put up with Matthews!

    I cannot stand watching versus fights with the volume on ever since they spent an entire fight insulting Anthony Peterson who won 12 out of 12 round with ease and looked good doing so.

    I am certain at least one of them does sho box and they are terrible. If you add Atlas, Kellerman, and Merchant you get the nightmare of all commentating in boxing.

    Really tho, i had a party last night and couldnt hear the commentating rofl.

    But you still gotta give Versus props for even showing the fight.

    Would you rather watch this shitty American version or a foreign Chinese **** on sop cas t?
